Earth Calling
Ring, ring! Thank you for calling Mission Imprintables! How may I help you?
Hello, this is your planet speaking. Can we talk about different ways you can show me some love?
Uh, this is awkward—I’ve never spoken to a lava-filled rock before. But since you asked, here are the planet-loving styles we offer here at Mission Imprintables:
The Simplex E1310 eco-friendly tee is yarn-dyed using a low-impact pigmentation process which omits chemicals that are harmful to the environment. The fabric is then taken through a special laundering cycle to create a soft, supple hand that is lightweight with a heather finish uncommon in pure cotton fabrics. The Simplex eco-friendly tee offers the printing benefits of cotton with the look and feel of a tri-blend.
We also offer Simplex styles in modal and lyocell, both of which are created from biodegradable, renewable cellulosic plants such as beech trees, pine trees, and bamboo. If you want a sample of one of these awesome, earth-loving shirts, please let us know!
Just added —Three Earth-loving styles from Mega Cap!
Style #6884 is a structured, mid-profile trucker available in six solid colors and is comprised of 50% recycled plastic bottles. Click on the image above to shop now and give Earth a Mega-hug!
Style #6886 is a five-panel, mid-profile trucker available in nine colorways and is also comprised of 50% PET, or recyclable plastic bottles. Another green option!
Style #6887 is an unstructured, distressed trucker that comes in seven colorways and made from 70% organic cotton. Now that is something to write Earth about.
Bella+Canvas loves our planet! The video (above) describes how they save water, use clean energy, recycle all of their scraps and surplus fabrics, and filter their waster water. For your clients looking to support Earth-friendly companies, Bella+Canvas is a no-brainer. (Mission Imprintables does a great job, too, BTW. We’ll tell you how in a little bit).
When it comes to Earth-friendly, Hanes is a good option. They have reduced their water consumption by 30% and their carbon dioxide emissions by 28% since 2007. Their yarn is produced using environmentally-responsible methods in facilities utilizing biomass, hydro, and geothermal energy sources.
At Mission Imprintables, we carry 13 Hanes Ecosmart styles, which are made with 5% recycled plastic. With this line, Hanes has kept the equivalent of of nearly 60 million plastic bottles from landfills each year. Bravo, Hanes!
At Mission Imprintables, Earth is still our favorite planet. Therefore, we have already implemented the following steps so we don’t have to hit space, the final frontier, to find a new one yet:
1) Energy Efficiency. Our appliances are energy efficient.
2) We have motion-sensored LED lighting to reduce our reliance on electricity.
3) Not only do we recycle, we reduce and reuse! How many times have you received an order in a whacky box like the one above? It’s not because you have sexy hair (although we definitely think you do). It’s because when we don’t have enough boxes to reuse, we buy overstock or misprinted boxes to fill our orders, and then use our signature snazzy red tape to seal them so you know where your order is coming from.
4) We offer digital catalogs that you can customize and link to your website so your customers don’t need a clunky paper catalog to shop.
5) And finally—our big announcement—we are now going to digital statements! For those customers who prefer a paper statement mailed to them, we will still provide this service, but starting in May, all statements will be sent via email.
At Mission Imprintables, we love our planet and we hope you do, too! Let’s do our part to keep Mama Earth healthy and strong. Thank you for reading this post. For getting to the end and subscribing to our blog, we will thank you by sending you a promo code worth 5% off any online order for up to $50 in savings. This code must be used before the end of April, so ACT FAST.
Thank you again for shopping local and supporting your friendly neighborhood distributor, Mission Imprintables.
