How do you celebrate Hispanic culture?
In the United States we dedicate this month to recognizing the contributions and influence that Hispanic Americans have had on our culture and history. National Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15th to October 15th every year and was started as just a week in 1968, but was then expanded to a month in 1988. The month starts on September 15th on the anniversary of the Cry of Dolores which marked the start of the Mexican War of Independence.
